Casting Call - PockTales Productions PARASOCIAL - Short Horror Film Two day paid shoot (on weekend days) during January 2022 (Dates TBD depending on actor/actress availability)
Parasocial is a short horror student film about a couple, Jordan and Natalie, being stalked by a voyeuristic killer after visiting a campground near Los Angeles.
Location - We have scouted out our main shooting locations as two parks in Altadena, a few minutes drive from Pasadena. We will be paying each actor/actress $100 a day for this shoot.

Natalie - (Female, 20-something) Description: Natalie is invested in maintaining an image of her life via social media (providing a parasocial product for others) - she feels like it’s worth it for the memories she captures even if they’re not always very candid.
Jordan - (Male, 20-something) Description: Jordan is a more private, carefree type who feels like the action of producing social media posts takes away from the moment, and wishes Natalie would try to be more “in-the-moment” when they’re out in nature.
