Have you ever considered the difference between being a creator on YouTube and being an entrepreneur who uses YouTube to build relationships with potential clients? Let me tell you a little story to illustrate the point.


Once upon a time, there were two YouTube channels; let's say one belonged to Steve and one to Sarah.


Steve was a creator who loved making videos about his passions - gaming, music, and pop culture. He had a big following and tons of engagement, but he needed help to monetize his channel.


On the other hand, Sarah was an entrepreneur who used YouTube to build relationships with potential clients. She created videos that spoke directly to her target audience, providing valuable information and showcasing her expertise in her industry.


While Steve was busy churning out videos for his fans, Sarah was focused on building relationships and connecting with humans. She knew that building trust and relationships was the key to scaling her business and significantly impacting more people worldwide.


So, what's the moral of the story? If you want to be an entrepreneur and help people with your unique gifts and talents ... don't make content like a creator.


Make content that speaks to your ideal client. The exact person that you know you can help because you either have firsthand experience with what they're going through, or you have skills and education about the subject. Either path makes you an expert and makes you uniquely qualified. So, make THAT content.


By providing value, showcasing your expertise, and building trust, you can use YouTube and any other social media platform to build quality, genuine connections, which lays the foundation for scaling your business.
